BI Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary with Best Ever Results
Newport Pagnell, UK, August, 2011. BI Worldwide Ltd closes its financial year in the best position it has been in since BI entered the European market in 2001.
BI Worldwide Ltd closes its 2010/11 financial year with turnover up, gross profit up and PBT up. The pre-audited figures are expected to be the best BI has achieved since entering the European market in 2001. The turnaround in performance is attributed to core business growth, new client wins and control of operational costs. The pre-audit figure highlights show:
- A significant return to profit following losses in 2009/10
- Turnover up more than 10%, gross profit up more than 20%, a position reflected in both the Events and Performance Improvement parts of the business.

David Battley to Head BI's Growing Events Team
Newport Pagnell, UK, July 2011. BI appoints a new Director of Events to lead its Events Team and build on recent success.
BI, the Business Improvement Company, is delighted to announce that David Battley will be joining its Events Team as Director of Events in June.
David joins the team at a period of significant growth, and his knowledge and expertise will be extremely valuable in supporting and extending that growth, as well as managing the department and its associates. David has almost 30 years experience within the UK and European Meetings Industry. He has worked with a range of event management companies, including BCD and The Appointment Group, the largest Entertainment Agency in Europe.

More recently, since summer 2007, David has worked with HRG to develop its events and meetings offering. David has worked with clients such as MTV, Sony Music, The Princes Trust and Bacardi.
