Schwan's Home Service
Schwan’s Home Service needed to get the word out to customers about the wide variety of cuisine they have to offer. Specifically, they wanted to showcase their new Chef Jet Asian line of products, ranging from Drunken Noodles to Thai Chicken Coconut Soup.
Challenge: spark consumer awareness to purchase from Schwan’s Home Services line of products — the Chef Jet Asian line in particular.
BI WORLDWIDE surrounded the Chef Jet Asian line with a Chinese New Year theme website to familiarize customers with the new cuisine. An interactive experience, Test Your Cooking Skills, previewed the delicious dishes. Better yet, customers could check their daily fortune to see if they were an instant prize winner. Fortunes also entered customers into the grand prize sweepstakes — a trip for two to Las Vegas where dinner would be personally cooked by the actual Chef Jet at his restaurant, WAZUZU.
For the Chinese New Year, it was the year of the rabbit. That rabbit welcomed 374,426 visitors to the site. Over the course of the sweepstakes, visitors opened 282,520 fortunes to try their luck at winning. Schwan’s attained over 58,000 new registrants from those who experienced Test Your Cooking Skills — a lucky year for the rabbit indeed.
