When Skechers launched its new line of shoes—the innovative Shape-ups—they needed the support of BI WORLDWIDE to introduce them to consumers.
Challenge: raise consumer awareness, shoe trial, consideration, and the purchase of Shape-ups.
BI WORLDWIDE designed a mobile marketing Shape-up America tour and hit the road to show off this ground-breaking footwear. BI WORLDWIDE cast fitness trainers and designed a Shape-ups branded bus that allowed consumers to learn about the shoe, get fitted, as well as buy on-site.
After 15 tour stops around the country, consumers walked off with Shape-ups, totaling $110,000 in sales at the events alone. Fitness trainers interacted directly with 146,500 consumers. As for awareness, numbers didn’t walk—they ran. Moving from city to city, event to event, the tour garnered over 1.2 million impressions, giving Shape-ups the publicity they desired.
