BI® Wins Brandon Hall Learning Award

BI®, the Business Improvement Company, and a leader in innovative learning, won a coveted Brandon Hall silver award for excellence in the best custom content category for an e-Learning initiative with Microsoft.

BI® was recognized during a ceremony and reception held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Santa Clara, Calif., as part of the 2007 Innovations in Learning Conference, held September 24-26. The winners are listed at www.brandon-hall.com.

As part of the global launch for Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft worked with BI® to design and develop custom e-Learning for their internal audiences to build awareness, promote messaging consistency, provide product knowledge and drive enthusiasm and internal evangelism.

In the first few months, learners’ test scores improved more than 20% and achieved a 91% post-test proficiency. This success led to the reworking of the course for use with Microsoft’s channel partners and other external audiences. It will shortly be available globally through Microsoft’s Partner Learning Center.

Larry Schoenecker, BI®’s President and COO, shared, “We are proud to receive this outstanding award from Brandon Hall, and to share it with an exceptional company like Microsoft. We continue to work closely with Microsoft on many new and exciting initiatives.”

“BI® provided us with a great, easy-to-use program that helped train our internal staff for the launch of our newest mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 6,” said Prithvi Raj, product manager for Mobile Communications Business, Microsoft Corp. “We congratulate BI® for receiving this well-deserved award.”
