Through a common tool, they wanted to ensure all recognition activity had a clear link to their strategic objectives and valued behaviours whilst providing regional flexibility that would extend the reach and impact of recognition to their 90,000+ employees in 52 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Implementing global recognition solutions comes with its own unique set of challenges. In partnership, we took this client through our comprehensive reward and recognition design and execution process we call the \u2018Six Streams of Implementation\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 10 months and conducted entirely online, our subject matter experts led 75 global stakeholders (from their HR, IT, marketing, finance, legal, and internal communications teams) through six project streams to discuss and agree every element required to effectively implement recognition solutions globally, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Legal, compliance, and governance<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 MSA and statement of works, regulatory considerations, ongoing governance, audits, risk requirements, commercial approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IT integrations, data security, and transfer\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Information security review, hosting options, data transfer from their HRIS, as well as the organisation&#8217;s bespoke requirements for a One Cert integration which allows them to manage bespoke access permissions to wider reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finance, tax, and payroll<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Tax considerations, invoicing requirements, points parity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Programme design<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Existing programme inventory and audit, design workshops, creative development, programme design to ensure incorporation of existing regional initiatives into the global framework and reach to employees in all markets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Platform development<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Language translations requirements, system configuration and customisations, user acceptance testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Communication and engagement<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Communication inventory and audit, recognition awareness gap analysis, recognition training, engagement, and communication plan development, reporting and analytics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivered via our<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biworldwide.com\/en-au\/daymaker\/\">cornerstone recognition platform, DayMaker<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0and integrated with our market leading\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biworldwide.com\/en-au\/rewards-marketplace\/\">Global Rewards Marketplace<\/a><\/strong>, the \u201cAppreciate\u201d programme has provided the organisation with the gold standard in reward and recognition solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain has-accent-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fc491a75caad761ae18a86409c66de2f is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>\u201cThis is so exciting, there&#8217;s a lot of buzz around the business and that\u2019s exactly what we&#8217;re aiming for.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><cite>Client Feedback<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Translated into 4 key languages<\/strong>&nbsp;with plans to expand this further \u2013 19 languages available as standard.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration with BI WORLDWIDE\u2019s Global Rewards Marketplace<\/strong>,&nbsp;offering their employees access to over 7m aspirational merchandise, experience, and personal development rewards globally.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>strong technical foundation<\/strong>&nbsp;upon which to strengthen the organisation&#8217;s high performance, recognition-rich culture, and support future growth and inclusion of wider employee engagement initiatives.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With a&nbsp;<strong>focus on adhering to the company\u2019s own stringent IT and data security policies<\/strong>, compliance framework and FCA, local Monetary Authorities and other regional financial services regulators, global briefing sessions were delivered to achieve overall programme buy-in and alignment from their 2,000 strong HR community worldwide.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Throughout the design, implementation, and launch phases, a&nbsp;<strong>comprehensive communication and engagement strategy<\/strong>&nbsp;was developed to help the bank communicate key messages around the programme objectives to wider stakeholders and programme influencers. This included activities such as a programme naming contest, a package of teaser communications, CEO announcements, best practice, and FAQ guides.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Outcome <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Via a healthy communications plan, the global recognition and reward programme was successfully launched in four
