BI WORLDWIDE Listed as a Sample Vendor in Gartner Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Software, 2016

Minneapolis, MN: BI WORLDWIDE (BIW), a global engagement agency, has been listed as a Sample Vendor by Gartner in the Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Software, 20161 report in the Worker Engagement Platform and Social Employee Recognition Systems categories. Gartner analyst Helen Poitevin notes that, “Worker engagement platforms are systems that aim to boost employee engagement and motivation. Disciplines such as behavioral economics or positive psychology inform the design of these platforms to maximize adoption and to influence workers to take on the right mindset and behaviors to best fulfill a given organization's culture, values and mission.” BIW’s focus on applying the principles of behavioral economics in its G5 system design provides the foundation to support desired behaviors and outcomes addressed throughout the entire employee value proposition, starting with a company’s culture, values and mission.

As published in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Software, 2016, worker engagement platforms are considered an innovation trigger, defined as “A breakthrough, public demonstration, product launch or other event generating significant press and industry interest” and is expected to emerge into mainstream adoption in 5 to 10 years. The benefit rating is perceived as high to an organization.

BIW’s G5 system is flexible, using a variety of native apps to reinforce key behaviors, including game mechanics and audience smart technology. For example, employees can publically recognize each other, celebrate their service anniversary, earn badges, complete learning modules and find out their happiness score using BIW’s proprietary WorkHappier Profilesm. This allows for enhanced connection with the firm, a stronger sense of community and improved engagement. G6, the next iteration of the system, will be released in early 2017, with more advanced technology and an even stronger focus on delivering an employee-centric experience.
