BI WORLDWIDE wins IMA Europe Award for social responsibility and sustainability

We’re delighted to share that Strive for The Hive has won the Excellence in Social Responsibility and Sustainability category at the IMA Europe Awards 2026.

The award recognises programmes that create meaningful impact through engagement, motivation and behaviour change. That’s exactly what happened when BI WORLDWIDE associates came together to support a shared goal alongside YMCA Milton Keynes.

More than fundraising

The original challenge was simple. Could teams take $650 of seed funding and turn it into something bigger?

The answer was yes.

Associates organised everything from fundraising events and product sales to a private cinema screening attended by almost 140 people. Together, they raised more than $15,000 to support a new youth club serving young people aged 11 to 18 in the Whitehouse community.

The funding helped the club open a full year earlier than planned. Since then, it has become the most popular youth provision operated by YMCA Milton Keynes, supporting up to 44 young people per session.

That’s why this recognition matters. Not because of a trophy or a title, but because of the lasting impact created for the local community.

A reflection of who we are

At BI WORLDWIDE, one of our core values is reaching beyond our four walls. Strive for The Hive brought that value to life. It combined creativity, collaboration and healthy competition around a cause that mattered, while creating a tangible outcome for local young people.

Mike Davies, Managing Director, BI WORLDWIDE EMEA, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to have won this award, but even more proud of what it represents.
Strive for The Hive showed what’s possible when people come together behind a shared purpose. Our associates brought energy, creativity and commitment to the challenge, while our partnership with YMCA Milton Keynes helped turn that effort into something with a lasting impact.

This recognition belongs to everyone who played a part in making that happen.”

Looking ahead

Awards are a welcome moment to celebrate. But the real success story is what happens next.

The youth club continues to provide a place for young people to connect, build confidence and develop new friendships. We’re proud of what Strive for The Hive has achieved and grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.
