The Challenge
A leading financial services organisation in Australia and New Zealand wanted to strengthen its leadership culture by empowering managers to recognise and reward exemplary leadership behaviours. However, the existing system was underutilised, and managers lacked the tools and confidence to effectively celebrate leadership moments. The organisation needed a simple, impactful way to boost recognition activity, reinforce values, and engage managers.
The Solution
BI WORLDWIDE Australia partnered with the organisation to deliver a targeted, two-month recognition campaign designed to drive manager participation and celebrate leadership behaviours.
At the core of the initiative was a tailored recognition and rewards program, Leadership that Inspires and Motivates, seamlessly integrated into the organisation’s existing technology recognition platform. This intuitive program empowered managers to acknowledge and reward team members who exemplified key leadership behaviours.
To maximise impact, the program launch was supported by a dynamic two-month communications campaign, generating excitement and sustaining momentum throughout the initiative.
The Results
19%
increase in employee platform logins
60%
increase in manager logins
62%
increase in recognitions given
46%
increase in recognitions receivers
More than just numbers, the initiative helped embed leadership behaviours across the organisation. Proving that when recognition is made easy, it becomes a powerful tool for culture change.
